The Building Consultancy Team provides advice on all phases of the property cycle, from appraisal of new developments and pre-acquisition surveys to assessing the potential of historic buildings and advising on dilapidation issues at the end of a lease. We advise on planned maintenance programmes and project management of building contracts for clients who need to rebuild or refurbish their property. We specialise in advising developers and adjoining owners on the full range of neighbourly matters, such as party wall issues and rights to light.

Recent legislation has led us to develop specialist advice to clients in connection with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and the changes to management of property brought about by the Asbestos at Work regulations. Our services are delivered nationwide and we advise a wide range of clients, including statutory bodies, national and private companies within the retail, leisure, commercial, industrial and residential sectors.
